A Natural Product from the Beehive Over the years that we have been selling these, many of our customers have discovered the excellent anti-bacterial properties of propolis. Propolis is used by the bees to maintain their hive as a fortified city free of infection. The bees collect the resin from the bark and buds of specific trees and utilise it for disinfecting the areas around the hive, and also warding off any germ carrying intruders. Propolis is made up of 50-55% resins and balsams, 30% beeswax, 10-15% essential oils and 5% pollen. The most active ingredients of propolis are the flavonoids which have remarkable properties. Each jar contains 75 capsules and as suggested intake is 2-4 capsules daily, this will be sufficient for between 19 and 38 days supply.Each capsule contains 150mg Propolis. N.B. Not recommended for those allergic to bee products and in cases of asthma
